Ostrow Textile Company

The Ostrow Textile Company was founded in 1912 in New York City. It moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1963 and to Rock Hill, South Carolina, in 1968.〔(''Plej's pulls the plug on its Triangle stores; competition too stiff'' ), Triangle Business Journal, July 19, 1996.〕 It finally went bankrupt in 2005.〔(Ostrow closing but may sell Plej's stores ), Charlotte Business Journal, October 21, 2005〕〔(Anna's continues expansion: purchase of 26 Plej's stores increases footing.(Anna's Linens) ), High Beam Research, November 15, 2005〕The company operated Plej's textile mill outlets and was a distributor of linens and domestics.
